Attractions at Queensland Amusement Park Chennai

Queensland is an action-packed world of rides, slides and other exciting activities that includes fifty one rides. There are thirty three rides for adults and eighteen rides for children. Water rides are open from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It also holds swimming pools for women and men.

The amazing Free Fall Tower is one of the tallest towers in South East Asia and can hold around 24 people. It is permitted only for adults. Adrenaline junkies will enjoy moving up in the sky to a height of 150 metres and then plunging down. Made in Germany, Alpen Blitz is sure to excite adventure buffs that take them for a ride at 45 degrees.

Most of the guests visiting Queensland also like boarding on the Cable Car that takes them for an interesting ride covering 1.5 km in just 30 minutes. It is known to be the longest cable car of the country. Centrox rotating at eighty five degrees and at a height of 30 feet is another draw of the amusement park. It is one of the only three Centroxs available in the world and has a seating capacity of around 28 people.

The engaging park attracts thrill seekers to enjoy the exhilarating Roller Coaster and the Hanging Coaster. Children will have an amazing time riding the Mini Wheel or the Mini Avio. Boarding the Kids Taxi and sloping down the Frog Slide are the other features attracting the younger lot.

Dashing each other’s bumper cars, stepping on the crazy horses’ or riding over the musical instruments of the orchestra are some added features to be enjoyed by the guests. Other rides offering enthrallment include dragonfly, ko-kart, tora-tora, pirate ship and carousel.

Entry Fees and Timings of Queens Land Amusement & Water Park Chennai

The entry fee for children is Rs. 450 and for adults is Rs. 550. There is no entry fee for children shorter than 2 feet. Park is open from 10:00 AM in the morning till 6:30 PM in the evening on weekdays except for Monday. On weekends and government holidays, the park is open from 10:00 AM in the morning till 7:00 PM in the evening. Maintenance is done on Mondays.

There are separate parking lot for cars. The fun-filled park serves mouth water delicacies through its food stalls. Swimsuits are available for a price.
