Top Two Habits Your Should Leave Right Now to Be Successful.

The organization started working in 1925 with two salesmen from the Pennsylvania Indemnity Exchange. Their names are HO Hirt and OG Crawford. They left their then company and started their own insurance company.

In just 20 days, there were successful in convincing 90 Stockholders to invest huge money and that too using a handwritten business plan. They could raise $31000 and began their Auto Insurance Company

Hirt and Crawford could get a license for the Erie Insurance Exchange as an Automobile Insurer. They began operations in the month of April in 1925.

Erie Insurance created a different type of auto policy in 1934 named that as “Super Standard Auto Policy,” that was used as a model for other insurance companies across the country. This policy included extra coverage which was not seen in other policies during the 1930s such as “Drive Other Car” coverage and waiving collision deductibles between two ERIE-insured vehicles. EI later expanded into a home, business, and life insurance Company.
