Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has extended her gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his instrumental role in the construction of the historic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. In a heartfelt letter addressed to the Prime Minister, Shetty expressed profound appreciation for his efforts in fulfilling the dreams of millions by overseeing the realization of the sacred temple.
The letter, written in Hindi, reflects Shetty’s admiration for PM Modi’s leadership and ability to rewrite history. She commended his exceptional role in associating his name with the auspicious feat of constructing the Ram Mandir, a project that has been a longstanding aspiration for Hindus worldwide.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for your remarkable contribution to the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya,” Shetty wrote. “Your leadership has rewritten the 500-year-old history of the Ram Janmabhoomi, and for this, I am sincerely grateful. Your name will forever be associated with Lord Shri Ram for achieving this auspicious feat.”
The subject line of Shetty’s letter read, “Congratulations and Appreciation on fulfilling millions of people’s dream of building Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya Dham.”
The BJP Maharashtra’s social media handles shared an image of Shetty’s letter, emphasizing her gratitude towards PM Modi for bringing an end to the five-century exile of Lord Sri Rama through his relentless efforts.
“Famous actress Shilpa Shetty recently wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanked him,” read the translated message from BJP Maharashtra’s social media. “Sri Rama was in exile for 5 centuries. Finally, that exile ended. That too because of Modiji’s efforts… Shilpaji has thanked the Prime Minister for this.”
The BJP Maharashtra handle also encouraged others to express their appreciation to PM Modi by sending letters to the designated email address, with selected letters to be published on media platforms.
The consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir took place on January 22, 2024, witnessing the presence of numerous prominent personalities from the film industry and business world, including Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit Nene, and Rohit Shetty.
