Salman Khan's Heartwarming Reunion with Young Cancer Survivor Jaganbir

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared a touching moment with his young fan, 9-year-old Jaganbir, who triumphed over cancer after enduring nine rounds of chemotherapy. The actor’s bond with the child dates back to 2018 when they first met during Jaganbir’s chemotherapy sessions at the Tata Memorial Center in Mumbai.

Salman Khan had made a heartfelt commitment to meet Jaganbir once the brave youngster emerged victorious in his battle against cancer. That moment finally arrived in December 2023, a year after Jaganbir successfully overcame the disease.

In an exclusive interview with Indian Express, Jaganbir’s mother, Sukhbir Kaur, revealed the challenging journey her son faced. At the age of 3, Jaganbir experienced eyesight loss due to a coin-sized tumor in his brain. Doctors recommended seeking treatment in prominent cities like Delhi or Mumbai. Choosing Mumbai for treatment, Jaganbir believed he was going to meet none other than Salman Khan.

Upon admission to the hospital, a video of Jaganbir expressing his desire to meet Salman Khan circulated and reached the actor himself. Salman responded with a heartfelt visit, verifying his presence by touching Jaganbir’s face and bracelet.

As of now, Jaganbir’s health is on the upswing, and he has remarkably regained 99 percent of his eyesight. His mother also shared the joyous news that Jaganbir is back to attending school regularly.

On the professional front, Salman Khan, who last graced the big screen in the blockbuster hit Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif, is currently immersed in hosting the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss 17. The show is set to conclude on January 28, 2024.
