New York Center for Living Rehabilitation and drug Treatment Centre in New York, USA
Family Focus
We’ve found that family involvement in therapy is crucial to successful long-term recovery. We encourage family members to participate in treatment whenever possible, and we offer parent-focused educational series and workshops.
Individualized Plans
Our treatment plans are fully individualized based on your needs and history. Whether you’re seeking outpatient treatment, residential services, or a medically supported detox, we can get you the care you need.
Expert Team
Our highly credentialed team brings critical insight to every individual’s unique circumstances. We effectively address the intricacies of treating both substance abuse disorders and co-occurring disorders.
Our Approach to Treatment
We understand the complex variables that affect adolescent substance experimentation and use. We develop individualized treatment plans that will help teenagers sharpen the skills necessary to thrive without the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
Our approach to treatment is focused on abstinence and the 12 Step program. Working through each of these steps provides adolescents and young adults the framework to address the complex realities of substance abuse. In doing so, our clients find meaning and purpose in their lives while they heal.

A Rich History of Helping Others
New York Center for Living is a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit treatment center, and we were the first intensive outpatient treatment program of its kind for adolescents and young adults in New York City. Over the years we have helped hundreds of clients to find not only lasting recovery, but a successful, fulfilled life that they and their family can be proud of.
Helping the Next Generation of New Yorkers
We believe that effective treatment should be affordable for everyone who needs it. That’s why we keep our program cost at about 25 percent of what other treatment programs charge. We also take out-of-network insurance benefits. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we do this through the ongoing support of an endowment that offsets our operating costs, allowing us to offer the highest level of care in one of the most beautiful facilities in the city while keeping attendance affordable. For Parents
Our Parent Only Program is designed for parents who do not have a child enrolled at the Center. Weekly individual therapy sessions are available, as well as a monthly workshop providing coaching on how to influence your child’s behavior, improve your family’s communication and heal the family system overall. Parents learn the basics of substance use and abuse, acquire prevention tools and attend support sessions.
