In a momentous occasion, Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, and Nita Ambani, the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, graced the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya today. The couple arrived at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, joining other prominent figures from various walks of life in this historic event.
As Ayodhya adorned itself for the grand ceremony, Mukesh Ambani shared his anticipation, declaring, “Lord Ram is arriving today, January 22nd will be Ram Diwali for the entire country.” Nita Ambani echoed the sentiment, calling it a “historic day.”
The consecration event, eagerly awaited by millions, is witnessing the participation of dignitaries, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to attend the rituals. The “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony commenced at 12:20 pm and is scheduled to conclude by 1 pm. Following this, the prime minister will address a gathering of over 7,000 people, including spiritual leaders and notable personalities.
The elaborate rituals leading up to this event began on January 16, starting from the Saryu River. The new idol of Ram Lalla, in its 5-year-old form, arrived at the temple complex on January 17. The consecration ceremony is considered a significant milestone, culminating in the opening of the temple to the public tomorrow.
Ayodhya, buzzing with local excitement, reflects the palpable anticipation ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ and the grand opening of the temple on Monday. The ceremony is conducted by a team of priests chosen from across the country, led by Lakshami Kant Dixit.
