उत्तर प्रदेश के बदायूं जिले में मंगलवार को एक भयानक घटना घटी जब साजिद नामक एक व्यक्ति ने दो बच्चों की उस्तरा और चाकू से हत्या कर दी। यह नृशंस हत्याकांड ठेकेदार विनोद कुमार के घर में हुआ, जिनका तीसरा बेटा पीयूष, साजिद को चकमा देने में सफल रहा और अपनी जान बचा पाया।
पीयूष ने बताया, “सैलून वाले भैया हम तीनों को ऊपर ले गए और फिर चाकू से हम पर हमला करने लगे। मैंने उनके हाथों से चाकू हटाने की कोशिश की और उन्हें धक्का देकर भाग निकला।” पीयूष के सिर और हाथ पर चाकू के निशान पाए गए हैं।
मुहल्ले के लोगों ने बताया कि साजिद ने तंत्र-मंत्र के कारण इन हत्याओं को अंजाम दिया हो सकता है, क्योंकि उसके पहले दो बच्चे पहले ही मर चुके हैं और अब उसकी पत्नी का तीसरा प्रसव होने वाला है।
स्थानीय पुलिस ने इस घटना के चार घंटे के अंदर ही साजिद को एक एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया। इस नृशंस घटना से इलाके में काफी तनाव और डर का माहौल है, और भारी पुलिस बल की तैनाती की गई है।

Sajid, who had recently inaugurated a barber shop in the vicinity, breached the sanctity of Vinod Kumar’s household, launching an unforeseen assault on Kumar’s unsuspecting children—Ayush (12), Ahaan alias Honey (8), and Yuvraj (10)—with an axe in hand. The assailant’s ruthless act claimed the lives of Ayush and Ahaan, leaving Yuvraj grievously wounded but alive. The aftermath saw the local police force taking decisive action, culminating in Sajid’s fatal encounter as he attempted to evade capture.
The incident has since led to the detention of Sajid’s immediate family members for interrogation as the authorities delve deeper into the motivations behind this heinous act. Despite the profound loss and unanswered questions, the Kumar family maintains that there was no known animosity with Sajid prior to the tragedy.
In the hours leading up to the attack, Sajid approached the Kumar residence under the guise of borrowing money, citing his pregnant wife’s hospitalization as the reason for his urgent need. Trustingly, Sangeeta Kumar, Vinod’s wife, consented to lend the requested sum. However, in a deceitful turn of events, Sajid lured Ayush to an isolated part of the house under the pretext of visiting the family’s beauty parlour, only to launch a brutal attack in the cover of darkness.
The community’s response to this atrocious act was one of collective grief and outrage, leading to the fiery destruction of Sajid’s barber shop.
